This grant support will help to solidify the foundational collective impact principles and accelerate theaction network based on data driven decisions. The project will (1) fund staff to support all aspects of the action network who will ensure that key milestones are met and (2) fund majoractivities and strategies that seek to re-engage youth in school and work and strengthen the networks that support them. The comprehensive landscape data analysis on OY in El Paso County will provide useful data to more fully understand the characteristics of OY in our area. Education providers such as the Education Service Center Region 19 and the surrounding Independent School Districts, along with the El Paso Community College District and the University of Texas at El Paso are committed to providing educational onramps to disconnected youth. The workforce board along with other industry partners like Bitwise and AT&T are also interested in reengaging OY into career pathways. Lastly, not-for-profit partners like Project Arriba can play a key role in demonstrating how targeted case management plays a critical role in the success of each individual.
