The objective of this PWS is to define the requirements needed. It is expected that the Seller will design and evaluate electromagnetic performance for a spatially variant self-collimating photonic crystal (SVPC) at the LWIR (8-14 µm). This work is unclassified. Base: Task Description 1. Develop code for Ball Aerospace to generate SVPCs 2. Design and simulation several candidate two-dimensional SVPCs 3. Incorporate measured material properties and dispersion if they exist. 4. Bi-monthly teleconferences to report status of project.
