Note:
This two-year proposal is a continuation of previous work conducted in 2021-2022 with the Paso del Norte Health Foundation's Diabetes initiative. Goals are: to provide technical assistance to the initiative; offer strategic planning support via literature review and regional data synthesis; assist with qualitative data collection and analyses regarding current and future media campaigns; and deliver theoretical and empirical expertise to inform communication strategy and content. This work builds upon previous work by Dr. Cooper to promote community based messaging regarding tobacco control, COVID-19 preventive behavior and vaccination promotion, and diabetes awareness and management.
