UTEP PI will work to establish a research collaboration with faculty at UC San Diego with the goals to i. increase research capacity at UTEP, ii. enhance research experience to UTEP students, and iii. help the students prepare for graduate studies. b. UTEP PI will recruit undergraduate students. 2) Undergraduate Phase: a. UTEP PI and students will meet with UC San Diego faculties on a regular basis to discuss collaborative projects. b.
