Note:

This proposal is for funding to support Dr. Hurtado's participation as a member of the science team for the 2022 Desert Research and Technology Studies (D-RATS) field campaign. D-RATS is a high-fidelity science and operations planetary analog project. The field site is the San Francisco Volcanic Field in northern Arizona. The goal of D-RATS is to test technologies for exploration of the lunar surface in support of the Artemis program. Dr. Hurtado will participate in planning and execution of D-RATS activities as well as in analysis of acquired data. Dr. Hurtado will support D-RATS at mission control at NASA Johnson Space Center and/or in the field in Arizona.?
