For this proposal, the Hunt Institute will conduct the economic impact of Endeavors economic activities in Pecos, Texas. Economic activity is spurred by the direct employment of 1,900 workers and subcontracted personnel, as well as the value-added services provided by Endeavors benefits and service programs such as: • community and family services, • veteran care, • emergency services and, • migrant services. The research team will use indicators and requested data, such as operating budget, direct employment, home ownership, housing rent, and subcontractor hiring to assess the community's economic activity and ripple effect. The economic impact research will look at the direct, indirect, and induced effects of Endeavors in Pecos, TX, on output and employment, as well as the impact on tax revenue and sales from the nonprofit economic activity. The economic impact analysis will aid in developing data visualizations, such as fact sheets, to portray the key findings and results of the economic impact study.
