The proposed Lab aspires to position Texas's and New Mexico's universities to expand their global leadership in energy research and education. To date, organizational partners include the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, New Mexico Tech, Texas A&M University, University of Texas-Austin, Sandia National Laboratory, University of Texas-Permian Basin, University of Texas-El Paso, Odessa College, and Midland College.
