Note:
Objective 1: To conduct a train-the-trainer (TTT) session/workshop on the use of the Photovoice method with 10 participants who will serve as Photovoice group facilitators. These participants are not research subjects in this study and are considered project collaborators. Objective 2: To form an advisory committee of key informants and decision makers to create awareness and highlight opportunities to present Photovoice results and recommendations. The goal is to work towards supporting Hispanic women with ancer or survivors to inform policy, decision makers, and engender social change. The advisory committee participants are not research subjects in this study and are considered project collaborators. Objective 3: a) To document the experiences of Hispanic women and cervical cancer in El Paso TX, a U.S. Mexican Border region; b) to document health care and human service needs of Hispanic women at risk for HPV related cancers ; c) develop a Call to Action; d) inform decision makers about experiences of cancer among Hispanic women.
