The overarching research objective is to develop novel structural batteries to overcome the conventional trade-off and improve the multifunctional efficiency over 1.5. This can be achieved by systematically understanding the effect of the structure of the multifunctional parts in structural battery on the electrochemical and mechanical properties, strategies for their control, and mechanoelectrochemical correlation.
