Note:
SAMs 1.1.1 The objective of this research is to design, fabricate, and evaluate the hybrid memristor/CMOS Genesis chip, with continual on-device learning capabilities. Continual on-device learning is a major limiting factor in deploying AI systems in domains with need for real-time decision making, dynamic and unpredictable environments, and limited training data. This effort seeks to improve edge intelligence capabilities for systems in SWaP constrained domains which can benefit from continual learning.
