SAMs 1.1.1; In this research project the main objectives are as follows: 1)Test 18 large-scale reinforced concrete walls that are governed by flexural modes of strength degradation under seismic excitation, with various layouts of CFRP strengthening. 2)Process the test data to arrive at strength and deformation capacity metrics for the specimens. Design and data reports shall be delivered to the sponsor per the schedule below. A total of 18 data reports summarize data for each wall test shall be delivered. Data reports shall be delivered after each wall test. A final report summarizing all designs, testing and results shall be delivered a the end of the project.
