SAMs 1.1.1 and 1.1.4; This research project will investigate and map key supply chain networks in the Coastal Bend counties (as defined by the area Council of Governments) of Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces, Refugio, and San Patricio focusing on opportunities for small businesses. This insight into the landscape would help business advisors, economic development directors, and small businesses identify potential opportunities and create jobs. This project intends to build upon previous research and create new levels of awareness along key supply chains, thus informing small businesses about how to take advantage of opportunities.
