SAMs 1.1.1 and 1.1.4; Through its Operationally Dynamic Information Network (ODIN) IRAD, UTSA will support Peraton and their ODIN IRAD team to further enhance its disinformation detection capabilities. Through this project UTSA will focus on these key areas for disinformation detection research: 1. Detecting deep fake and doctored images & videos 2. Detecting coordinating networks and bots 3. Detecting false narrative using knowledge aware and text analysis algorithms The research findings will be collected and analyzed.
