SAMs 1.1.1; This research project will develop workflows and guidelines that can reduce the effort involved in model calibration and validation, lead to improved model fit, potentially reduce model run times, and provide a pathway to adopt advanced models for the analysis of scenarios that would benefit from them. This project will also explore the value of new data sources when considering the use of advanced planning models based on literature findings, past experiences, and discussions with subject-matter experts.
