Note:
SAMs 1.1.1; This research project opens an opportunity for the PI to contribute the study of emission and absorption lines in the X-ray band with the resolve instrument onboard XRISM. Instead of fitting a model to data to determine the degree of consistency of the model in describing the data, the instrument will permit direct measures of temperature and density of the hot plasma. This project also allows studying the available Bayesian software packages to see whether they are appropriately built to fit many lines in the resulting Resolve spectra.
