SAMs 1.1.1; With these planning grant funds, the team will explore potential NSF Emerging Frontiers in Research and Innovation (EFRI) proposal submission topics to foster diversity in the future hypersonics research workforce and curricula. The team has identified a unique opportunity to bring together a collection of scientists and researchers with expertise in experimental and computational hypersonic aerodynamics. With the assembled coalition of academic partners, we have created a diverse team prepared to address current challenges in the aerospace workforce while answering fundamental research questions in hypersonics.
