SAMs 1.1.1; This research project will consist of a comprehensive review of the scientific literature reporting on the evaluation of programs and/or initiatives that are similar to or align with the City of San Antonio inventory and have an impact on public safety. Specifically, the project will yield a comprehensive written report that reviews the relevant literature, identifies programs similar to those in San Antonio that have been evaluated, discusses their associations with public safety if assessed (including metrics used to assess impacts), and provides recommendations to the City for which programs can be expected to affect public safety and are potentially amenable for subsequent evaluation. The report also will identify the data needed to conduct scientifically rigorous evaluations of these programs.
