SAMs 1.1.1; In this research project, the UTSA team shall analyze data and complete an Interim Update Community Assessment Report for each of the 6 Head Start and Early Head Start Programs managed by Upbring. The sites for which Community Needs Assessments to include: 1) Bexar County (Early Head Start), 2) Bee, Goliad, Live Oak, Refugio (BGLR) Counties, 3) Wharton and Matagorda Counties, 4) Galveston County, 5) Johnson, Tarrant, Somervell, Erath, Hood County, and the city of Azle, and 6) Brazoria County. Methodologies include data gathering and analysis, maps, and other methods. The assessment must use data that describes community strengths, needs, and resources and include key elements for each service area. Bi-weekly written reports detailing work progress and coordinate/participate in conference calls and/or meetings with the Head Start/Early Head Start Program and other stakeholders to gather input for the report. Data Analysis Backup Documentation. Executive Summary of the Community Assessment Report Update. One Briefing Paper for Community Assessment Reports. PowerPoint Presentations to Staff, the Head Start Policy Councils, and the as requested by UPBRING staff.
