SAMs 1.1.1 and 1.1.3; The research project is an ethnography study of social justice as a cultural manifestation within and an HBCS and an HBCS teacher education. Sponsored by the Ford Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship administered through NASEM. Awards will be made for study in research-based Ph.D. or Sc.D. programs; practice oriented degree programs are not eligible for support. The research will culminate in a book about teacher education at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
