Note:
SAMs 1.1.1 Myeong Joon Kim will be performing Magnetospheric Multiscale (MMS) data analysis using data from the Hot Plasma Composition Analyzer (HPCA) plasma instrument, studying the properties of ion composition, temperature, and pitch angle in Earth's magnetosphere. He will also use data from Van Allen Probes and from the Los Alamos Geosynchronous Spacecraft. In the upcoming academic year, Myeong Joon will conclude his first research project, a statistical analysis of ion data. His advisor will be Jerry Goldstein, with additional advisory input from Stephen Fuselier.
