SAMs 1.3.1; This research funding will enable the GenAI consortium to seek to increase institutional adoption and implementation of a research-based Generation AI (GenAI) curricula. UTSA GenAI team will host GenAI Summit and Train the Trainers Workshops, open to faculty in the Consortium, UT System Institutions, and Community colleges in the Southwest Texas regions. UT system and community college faculty will collaborate to develop new research-based modules and unique lessons to be merged into the existing curriculum, to increase a diversified student population, and, ultimately, diversify the data science and AI workforce.
