SAMs 1.1.1 and 1.1.4; The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Center for Archaeological Research (CAR), in response to a request from Lewis Fisher and Lynn Bobbitt of the Brackenridge Park Conservancy (BPC) proposes to explore the nature and extent of what are believed to be Civil War-era Tannery structures and features within Brackenridge Park. The principal goal of the project is to monitor for cultural resources and analyze any research findings collected.
