CFDA: 0

Program Title: none

Note:

SAMs 1.1.1; This research project aims at investigating water-activated polymer (WAP) as a new grouting material, which has potential of expanding the groutable soil range and easier construction process but equivalent or ever better performance than cementitious grouting materials. Based on the results, a preliminary groutability chart will be developed and a recommendation for WAP grouting will be developed. This project fits well with tightening regulation of carbon footprint of construction project.
