SAMs 1.1.1 The main objective of this project is to conduct genetic analyses on previously collected fecal samples of adult males in C. A. ruwenzorii to determine kinship patterns in three tiers of social organization in the Rwenzori Angolan colobus monkeys at Lake Nabugabo. Two secondary goals are to examine whether kinship predicts male-male tolerance and determine how males that are not close kin, manage their relationships to achieve male tolerance.
