SAMs 1.3.1; The research study is to conduct a descriptive analysis of Texan students who have enrolled in and completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) program over the past two decades. The project objective is to analyze and track the demographic, financial, and educational characteristics of students admitted into MPH programs (and whether they choose to pursue a doctorate) and subsequent labor market outcomes in the short- and long-term following degree completion. It will also explore the correlates of entry and completion of degree programs. Study results will inform the development and implementation of a new MPH program offered by the University of Texas School of Public Health in San Antonio (housed within UT Health and Science Center, San Antonio).
