SAMs 1.3.2; The aim of this research project is to encourage/mentor/support undergraduate female STEM students in research activities. We will build a network of undergraduate STEM female students in the San Antonio area, and provide them with useful resources/opportunities(fellowship/REU), mentors, and research opportunities in academia and industry. There will be a series of activities such as summer research opportunities, presentations on emerging research topics, small training/workshops on relevant research topics/skills, mentoring events, networking events, and graduate school information sessions throughout the academic year specially designed for STEM female undergraduate students.
