SAMs 1.1.1; The research project proposes to answer the listed questions with focus on analysis based on the American Community Survey Data, augmented by other relevant data sources (Task 1). The analysis will be informed by a comprehensive literature review on issues related to the employment of military spouses, and this review will also comprise a discrete deliverable for this project (Task 2). Task 1: An assessment of the employment status of military spouses in the San Antonio area currently, over time, and in comparison to national trends. Task 2: A comprehensive review of academic literature and government resources summarizing and systematizing key issues associated with the employment status of military spouses.
