This site is situated on a terrace above the Pedernales River and east of the LBJ home. While the site was initially documented circa 2005, recent archaeological survey expanded site boundaries and added a Middle Archaic-aged Pedernales projectile point to the overall artifact assemblage of the site. Further archaeological investigations proposed herein seek to understand the nature and extent of the pre-contact cultural deposits of 41GL319. These investigations would be conducted under provisions of Section 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act. First project approved in 2022 #101685
