PENDING 1.1.1 Texas A&M University at Galveston (TAMUG) will develop a hydrodynamic model for all Texas coastal waters, resolving detailed bathymetric and geometric features of the coastal bays, including major bays such as Sabine Lake, Galveston Bay, Matagorda Bay, San Antonio Bay, Mission and Aransas bays, Corpus Christi Bay, and the Laguna Madre. The model is ready to be upgraded to: 1) resolve all the major estuarine bays in Texas, 2) be validated with data, and 3) be used for a variety of issues including forecasting of oil spill trajectory.
