SAMs 1.1.1. - "...We will integrate multi-proxy analyses including physical sedimentology, stratigraphy, micropaleontology, geochemistry, and geochronology to address the influence of glacial and oceanographic processes on marine sedimentation during the 20th and 21st centuries and since the Last Glacial Maximum, with a focus on sediment fluxes, meltwater drainage, icerafted debris (IRD) deposition, and radiocarbon chronologies....we aim to interrogate the seafloor sediment record around Antarctica to gain a better understanding of deglaciation of the continent today and during the prior deglaciation following the Last Glacial Maximum...."
