SAMs 1.1.7 - "...This proposal will address the prioritized needs of the USCRP by generating baseline occurrence data on MPs in water and sediment of Corpus Christi, Matagorda, and Galveston Bays. Next, it will use that data to examine the fate and transport of MPs in the target bay systems and their adjacent coastal waters. Additionally, an Open Source Raman Spectrometer will be developed and used to analyze samples collected during this study. This instrument will reduce MP sample processing time and significantly lower analytical costs...."
