prior year award not previously reported + continued current year funding - SAMs 1.1.7.? 1.1.9.? and/or 1.3.2.? - "Researchers and students...will participate in field data collection, processing, and interpretation, as well as community outreach activities. Project results and findings such as optimal locations for drilling groundwater well(s) in each of the investigated wadies, expected groundwater level, expected groundwater quality, screen types and interval, and optimal total well depth will be shared with DRC, our community partner as well as the local Bedouin. The DRC will be responsible for drilling groundwater wells and monitoring groundwater quality to ensure the full sustainability of the project....Both TAMU-CC and SCU students will participate in planning field surveys and in acquiring, processing, and interpreting the collected field data. They will learn practical training on utilizing geophysical methods in the field (e.g., resistivity, seismic, and GPR) as well as applying fundamental hydrogeological principles and methods (e.g., water level measurements, water table maps, and groundwater sampling)...."
