SAMs 1.1.7 - "The Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program (CBBEP) is currently working on a project (Nueces Delta Shoreline Erosion Protection) to construct a 3900 linear foot breakwater system in the northwest corner of Nueces Bay, TX. The project will protect and stabilize approximately 0.74 miles of rapidly eroding coastal marsh habitat and ensure that this critical habitat is available for the wildlife that breed, nest, forage, and shelter in the Nueces River Delta. The objective of the monitoring portion of this project will be to provide uncrewed aircraft system (UAS) imagery collection (pre and post construction), data processing, and analysis for mapping and quantitative assessment of the Nueces Delta Shoreline Erosion Protection project over a timeline of three years...."
