Note:
Pending. SAMS 1.1.1. Current method for determing optimum harvest time for sugarcane is complex, destructive to the sampled plants, time and labor-intensive and lacks real-time information on sucrose levels. This project will test plant-based sensors for measuring sucrose, made cost effective with a 3D printer, that will be non-destructive and allow for continuous remote wireless monitoring.
