Note:
The proposed planning for the development of a social-cognitive training module supported by a Smart Meeting Assistant (SMA) will facilitate equity in participation, prompt groups to explore unique undiscussed topics relevant to the ongoing discussion, provide a summary of the ongoing team’s creativity, and make forecasts about the future productivity of the team by observing the team at their initial level of performances. The measurable outcomes of the plan will be enhanced collaborative creativity such as divergent thinking (exploring across multiple topics/categories), convergent thinking (clustering or generating ideas from similar topics/categories), elaboration (adding details to ideas), originality, and feasibility of ideas generated in a collaborative team context. The focus will also be on equity in the process of video-based meetings (e.g., equal participation between team members, promotion of multicultural mindset) reducing bias in teams.
