IDD Services



INSTRUCTIONAL Services offered for students with IDD:


Assistive technology, extended time on quizzes and tests, taking tests using the CC TV (closed captioning), headphones, software available on campus - Karzweil and Read and Write Gold, note taker volunteers, smart pens, CC TV, talking calculator, lady bug hooked up to a monitor for visually impaired students, Ubi-duo (hearing impaired), FM Loop (hearing impaired).



CAREER DEVELOPMENT/JOB SUPPORT Services offered for students with IDD:


NONE



ADDITIONAL Services  offered for students with IDD:


Schedule interpreters as needed, enlarge handouts, order alternate textbooks or alter in house, oral assistance as needed, referral to other services - DARS or TRiO, disability desk, preferred seating in class, referrals to free disability resources (EX: Natural Reader), referrals to community resources, such as transportation.
