E4Texas: Educate. Empower. Employ. Excel E4Texas is for people who are 18 years and older and have graduated from high school, or have a GED, and want to be a Personal Care Attendant. The E4Texas experience combines classroom instruction with practical career building experiences in addition to independent living skills and self-determination. E4Texas has three goals. 1. Empower Texans to become self-determined & independent. 2. Educate Texans to gain employment skills, as well as professional and independent living skills. 3. Employ Texans in the area of Personal Care Attendants and related fields, and who will Excel in life! E4Texas is a tuition based program. UT Informal Classes We offer a subset of 16 continuing education courses on academic subjects and employment skills to adults with IDDs alongside UT Austin student volunteers. ADDITIONAL Services  offered for students with IDD:


Several students with IDDs have been recruited as volunteer or paid assistants for science research laboratories where they assist in setting up experiments and training UT Austin students.
