Program DESCRIPTION:


Richland has a partnership with Richardson ISD. Students with IDD have the open to transition to college while still receiving support from the school district. Students attend classes on Tuesday and Thursday on the college campus. Students take 2-3 classes and receive tutoring. We also have the TRI program that was designed for students with TBI. We do allow students with IDD to take some of these courses too.

Students may receive the same receive degrees,licenses and certificates that are available to all students if the meet the requirements. Some students transition into a certificate program. Others continue taking classes they enjoy and not seek degrees or certifications.
