SAMS 1.4.1; The International Symposium on Computational Geometry (SoCG) is the oldest and most influential international conference in computational geometry. The premier event in the field, SoCG brings together researchers from all over the world to report on the state of the art in the fields of computational geometry and many related disciplines. Founded in 1985 (as the Symposium on Computational Geometry), SoCG has played a seminal role in the formation and evolution of the field, and it continues to serve as the flagship venue for groundbreaking research in all areas of geometric computing. A key component of CG Week is the Young Researchers Forum. The Young Researchers forum (YRF) was established to provide a friendly, open setting for students and postdocs to present their research, both polished results and work in progress
