Note:
1.1.1 This effort will define a framework for credibility of surrogate models. This will define verification, validation and uncertainty quantification (VVUQ) methodologies for the risk-informed decision making in practical uses of surrogates. ML-based surrogate model development will be explored in this work. This work will build on a parallel effort for credibility of scientific applications of machine learning (ML).
